The work was excellent. The workers and supervisors were very friendly and cooperative. The planning and craftsmanship were excellent and we are very happy with the results. Feel free to use these comments. There were a couple of times where we could have improved communication about schedule. I am completely satisfied with the garage. It was a great experience working with Lensis Builders. The team from Lensis Builders really delivers on a project. We couldn’t be more happy with the entire process. They worked with us on a design, then handled all the permits, and delivered exactly what we expected. Every person we met with was professional, true to their word, and committed to the project being on time and on budget. There are a lot of builders and re-modelers who promise the world and don’t deliver. You won’t find that to be the case with Lensis Builders. To the entire team at Lensis – you started out as building contractors and you became friends, well, maybe more like family.You designed our addition and built it; you remodeled our basement, kitchen and the shower in the master bath and repainted the bedrooms and put new siding on the entire house. Throughout the entire process your crews were on time, courteous and pleasant to have around. I want to mention three in particular John, Joe and Kenny, they were with us from start to finish and they just don’t come any better, a special thanks to each of them. In the office, I dealt primarily with Stacy and Cindy who were both saints for putting up with me—thank you ladies for your kindness and understanding and your help. “Richard Lensis worked with us through several stages of planning and design, was willing to help us modify our budget to fit our needs, and he, his wife, and staff were all very responsive throughout the process. They got started right on time at the end of June, and finished up right on schedule: in time for me to go back to school (I’m a teacher). Every step of the way, they did beautiful, professional work. The payment schedule was very reasonable, and made planning simple. They were happy to let us handle demolition and painting to save money, and there were no surprises at any stage of the project. They even hung the cabinets I refinished from the kitchen in the addition. Richard was also able to put us in contact with a great HVAC company to handle our new furnace and central air unit.”

I am so excited about our new kitchen! It turned out to be exactly what I had envisioned-warm and welcoming but still exquisite with lots of bells and whistles. We actually had three different designers come up with a plan. All were nice, but this design really popped out, addressing a few problem areas in our previous kitchen layout that I wanted to change-location of the major appliances, comfortable work space and a balanced, sophisticated look while maintaining the traditional feel of our house, not a transplanted showroom. The Lensis Builders team took extraordinary steps to meet our needs from start to finish. Measurements were checked and re-checked, cabinets were ordered and received along with floor tiles and appliances before any demolition began in order to minimize construction time. Minor issues such as missing molding pieces were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. The most impressive thing, though, was the personal service we received. The kitchen designer, Stacy Lensis, accompanied me to the tile store, twice, to assist with floor and backsplash selections. She accompanied me to the lighting store to look at the chandeliers and pendants, to see what I liked. She came with me twice to look at and choose the granite. All our questions and concerns were addressed immediately. These things were above what we expected, but it was the type of service that made us feel like our kitchen was as important to our contractor as it was to us. We had heard so many horror stories of people remodeling their kitchen, but our experience was all positive. And the result speaks for itself!
